The apartment is in a great location on the edge of the traditional fishing village of Burgau in the Western Algarve. A stunning blue flagged sandy beach with crystal clear waters is under a five minute walk away.
The apartment has free access to Zaza (under 100 meters from the apartment) which has a pool surrounded by sun loungers, a childrens play area, gardens and a wonderful restaurant with a varied menu. Zaza is open throughout the year and also provides free Wifi access for your convenience.
The quaint white washed village of Burgau is surrounded by a national park and is just 10km west of Lagos with its walled city and modern marina (voted the best place to live in 2014). 3 kilometers to the east lies Praia du Luz and 3 kilometers to the west lies Salema, both with stunning white sandy beaches. You can also walk to both villages along the stunning coastal paths. The property is under an hour away from Faro airport on the new motorway. Cape Vincent and Sagres, both amazing surfing destinations, are only 20 minutes away.
Burgau is surrounded by a huge choice of golf courses - Espiche, Boa Vista, Santo Antonio and Palmares are amongst 20 or more courses within a 20 minute drive. Burgau has a great choice of international restaurants and bars and is a very popular destination for couples and families. It is also perfect for spending warm relaxing winter months by the sea with a heated apartment. There is a bus service from Burgau to Praia du Luz, other surrounding villages and Lagos - where you can catch buses to other destinations. Within a 30 minute drive there is a zoo and two waterparks.
This is a well equipped two bedroomed, two bathroomed air-conditioned ground floor apartment with a sunny west facing balcony for entertaining outdoors with a BBQ. The apartment is elevated above ground level and a new addition to the veranda is the frosted glass which gives extra privacy while outdoor dinning and relaxing in the sun. The apartment is cool in the morning during the summer months and has the sun on the balcony from late morning until the sun disappears over the surounding hills.
The well decorated lounge is spacious and airy with a comfortable sofa and two arm chairs. The 24 inch flat screen TV has a variety of English channels and there is large selection of DVDs for all ages. French windows open from the lounge onto the west facing balcony. It has a table and chairs with cushions and a built in BBQ for outside entertaining.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and is en-suite with a jacuzi bath/shower, toilet and bidet. The bedroom has a large wardrobe with hanging space and drawers and french doors that open onto the balcony.
The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes with hanging space and drawers and french windows that lead onto the balcony. The second bathroom has a bath/shower, toilet and bidet.
The apartment provides all necessary bed linen, towels and beach towels. The apartment is cleaned once a week.
